Starbucks gives away free red cups, McDonald’s has 63-cent Egg McMuffins Thursday and more deals


The Seattle-based coffee chain is giving away free limited-edition reusable red cups Thursday to customers who order a handcrafted holiday or fall beverage at participating U.S. stores, while supplies last.
Holiday drinks, which include Peppermint Mocha and Chestnut Praline Latte, returned to Starbucks on Nov. 4 and were joined by the new Sugar Cookie Almondmilk Latte. In past years, the free reusable cup giveaway was held on the first day of the holiday menu.
Starbucks said the red cup giveaway is available whatever way you order, including mobile order and pickup, curbside pickup and through delivery on Uber Eats.

This year’s reusable cup is made with 50% recycled content to honor the chain’s 50th anniversary, Starbucks said. It features classic holiday red with playful swirls of shimmering ribbon dancing against a starry sky.
Starbucks’ free cup offer is available Thursday with any handcrafted holiday or fall beverage (hot, iced, or blended) including: Apple Crisp Macchiato, Caramel Brulee Latte, Chestnut Praline Latte, Hot Chocolate, Irish Cream Cold Brew, Peppermint Hot Chocolate, Peppermint Mocha, Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew, Pumpkin Spice Latte, Sugar Cookie Almondmilk Latte, Toasted White Hot Chocolate and Toasted White Chocolate Mocha.
Starbucks Christmas Blend brewed coffee and Christmas Starbucks Reserve are excluded.

McDonald’s has a deal on its Egg McMuffin Thursday for the breakfast sandwich’s 50th anniversary.
Days after National Fast Food Day, the fast-food giant offers the Egg McMuffin for the throwback price of 63 cents with the McDonald’s mobile app at participating locations nationwide.
Most restaurants serve breakfast until 10:30 a.m.

Sonic Drive-In has $1 six-inch Chili Cheese Coneys Thursday at participating restaurants.
The discount will automatically apply at checkout for online and app orders and mention the deal when ordering at restaurants. There’s a limit of five per customer, while supplies last.
Burger King has teamed up with investment platform Robinhood to offer Royal Perks loyalty members the chance to win a “side of cryptocurrency” –including Dogecoin, Ethereum or Bitcoin.
Through Nov. 21 or while prizes last, Royal Perks members who spend $5 or more on the Burger King app, website or in-restaurant using “My Code” (a code requested during checkout) at participating locations will be rewarded with cryptocurrency.
Eligible Royal Perks members will be given a crypto coin when making a qualifying purchase with a limit of one prize code per day. Registration for the app is required.

Wendy’s has an assortment of deals in its app including $1 fries, any size, $2 off any premium combo and a free drink with any purchase at participating locations. There’s also the “Wendy’s Hot & Crispy Guarantee” on the new fries. The chain says if your fries aren’t hot and crispy when you receive them, it will replace them, “no questions asked.”
With a valid COVID-19 vaccination card, get a free glazed doughnut through Dec. 31 for showing the card.
If you haven’t joined Panera’s unlimited monthly coffee subscription, there’s a deal for new subscribers. Sign up for free coffee through the end of the year. Some exclusions apply. The subscription is $8.99 a month starting again in 2022.

Chick-fil-A launched a way to get a free Peppermint Chip Milkshake for you and a friend with a new holiday campaign at At the site, there’s a short film and you can sign up to get a printed recipe card with the free shake that will be mailed, while supplies last.
Chick-fil-A told USA TODAY that the recipe cards with the free shake coupons will take approximately seven to 10 business days to arrive and you can choose to have both cards sent to you or one to a friend. They are shipped for free and no purchase is necessary to redeem the free shake offer.
Chester’s Chicken and Love’s Travel Stops have teamed up to create “Truckersgiving,” a new food holiday to thank truck drivers, held a week before Thanksgiving because it’s a busier truck traffic week.
Truck drivers who visit a joint Chester’s and Love’s location Thursday and show their commercial driver’s license can get a tricker hat and a free side of Chester’s new mac and cheese. Hat quantities are limited at each location and the mac and cheese side is free with a purchase.
There are more than 140 Chester’s restaurants within Love’s more than 560 locations in 41 states.
